newish chara gnat. newish because none of you have seen her. she's... a green tang. get it? tang? gnat? hurrHRUURERR. i thought of designing her because my nametag at work says tang, and when i see it in the mirror i see gnat... so i thought it would be fun to make a chara named gnat.

her hairstyle is one i gave tang once.. but i didn't think it fit her personality. so gnat has it. she's like super punkcrazyface. she has a salon. she cuts peoples hair with scalpels. which is why she has a scalpel and hair in her hands.

i coloured this with *wayah's copics. which is why it melts my retinas.

I was JUST thinking from the thumbnail "That looks like Tang! But... green?"

Friggin' LOVE the neon neon neon, what incredibly bright colours, how in the hell did you manage to get them so illuminous?! I did not know copics would be so intense!

Loving the chunky legs, the utter style and attitude of her, anf the shading/colouring of darker green around the spot markings just make it all pop even more so, fantastic!

copic markers are insanely bright. much brighter than i thought before i used them. and along with my bright editing techniques, the colours just friggin SCREAM.

i use the "curves" editing.. coz it makes black even blacker, and white even whiter without damaging the colours too much.

what kind of scanner do you have?? i have an epson. i have the brightness and contrast setto make the paper look ACTUALLY white versus that grainy almost-grey. and then set the curves in the adjustments to further make the blacksSUPERBLACK and the whites much whiter without fading the colours. THUS: BRIGHTZORS.
